I'm Dr Ruth Machin, retired NHS doctor, registered health coach, mindful eating instructor and YouTuber. I'm currently completing a MSc in nutrition.
I spent 24 years in medicine, I've seen what shortens lives and I know what to do about it. My mission is to use my knowledge to help women over 50 build lasting nutrition and lifestyle habits, so they can age with energy, confidence and freedom around food.
A rare chronic eye pain condition ended my medical career overnight. During my recovery, I rebuilt my own health from scratch: better sleep, less stress, daily movement and eating well. Apart from my eyes, I'm the healthiest I've ever been.
Now I use my medical knowledge and lived experience to help women like you to do the same. No fads, no big promises. Just safe, evidence-based support grounded in science, with the occasional cruffin.
